Jon recognized that one thing that remained constant throughout the years was the failure of tree service companies that didn’t make safety and customer service  their priority. In 2001 Jon opened Westerlund Tree Service, determined to excel in these areas, and they have remained the driving force in the business ever since.

One of the biggest changes for the company occurred in 2015, when Westerlund Tree Service joined forces with Tree King, a successful South Kitsap tree service company owned by Mike King. Mike and his company brought a solid reputation for exceptional customer service, safety and honesty, and the partnership, called Kingwest, LLC, gave the new venture a depth of expertise not found in other tree service companies.
